Hi, I’m Emily!
I’m a Clinical Scientist in Medical Physics, specialising in imaging with ionising radiation.
It’s my job to continually improve medical imaging, making it as safe and effective as possible.
I’m a Clinical Scientist in Medical Physics, specialising in imaging with ionising radiation.
It’s my job to continually improve medical imaging, making it as safe and effective as possible.
I work across all areas of diagnostic radiology, testing X-ray equipment and developing new techniques and protocols to improve the way we image patients.
I particularly enjoy working with CT and getting stuck into projects that improve efficiency.
Ultimately, I love being able to use physics every day to enhance the care we can offer to patients.
I grew up in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and moved to Sheffield to study Physics with Medical Physics in 2014.
I now live just outside Nottingham, in Bingham, with my wonderful husband Jake (whose technical skills and endless patience are to thank for helping me bring this little website to life).
